The term ‘moth balls’ may bring back memories of a certain smell of naphthalene, a known carcinogen and derived from either coal tar or petroleum. We do not stock any products that contain naphthalene.
The issues with traditional, toxic, naphthalene based moth balls are the potential adverse health impacts on children and even adults in sufficient quantities, as well as the pungent naphthalene odour imparted to clothes being particularly unattractive! These are now banned in Europe.
